Replacing a Destin system that was not keeping up
The homeowner reported that the older HVAC system was not cooling properly and was struggling with indoor humidity. Our licensed technician evaluated the equipment and found the system low on refrigerant.
After reviewing the condition and replacement option, the homeowner chose a higher-efficiency Ruud heat pump system designed to provide dependable heating and cooling for the home.
The completed Ruud heat pump and air handler replacement gives the Destin home new heating, cooling, and humidity-management equipment as one matched system.
16 SEER side-discharge heat pump and new air handler
The replacement included a compact 16 SEER Ruud side-discharge outdoor heat pump and a new indoor air handler. The side-discharge design uses a smaller outdoor footprint than many traditional top-discharge units and can be a practical option where equipment space matters.
The supplied photos document the older outdoor unit before replacement, the completed Ruud heat pump, the new indoor air handler, and the technician with the finished outdoor installation. The complete proof graphic is also preserved with the original project summary.
