Breaker problems or an aging panel? Request an evaluation.

Repeated breaker trips, visible rust, damaged equipment or a need for additional circuits can warrant a licensed electrical evaluation. We explain the findings and suitable repair or upgrade options.

For your county office, use the direct numbers below. Our office confirms availability; submitting a request does not book an appointment.

What we evaluate

Panel and breaker condition, visible corrosion or damage, circuit demand, grounding and bonding where applicable, visible connections, and relevant code and permit requirements.

Protection beyond the panel

GFCI and AFCI protection, outlets, switches, surge protection, smoke/CO detector placement and wiring concerns can be reviewed as separate services. We explain scope and pricing before authorized work.

Electrical safety

Do not remove panel covers or attempt energized electrical repairs. If you notice smoke, sparks or immediate danger, leave the area and contact emergency services as appropriate.

Electrical Panels & Breakers questions

Why does a breaker keep tripping?

Possible causes include overloads, equipment faults, wiring issues or a breaker problem. Repeated resets do not establish that a circuit is safe; have the cause evaluated.

Does a rusty panel always need replacement?

Not automatically. The extent and source of corrosion, equipment condition and applicable requirements determine the recommendation.

How do GFCI and AFCI protection differ?

GFCI protection responds to certain ground-fault conditions; AFCI protection responds to certain arc-fault conditions. Required protection depends on the circuit and applicable code.

When is a panel upgrade appropriate?

An evaluation may identify insufficient capacity, damage, compatibility problems or changes needed for planned equipment. There is no universal upgrade requirement or fixed price.
