A bathroom sink faucet needed an internal rebuild
The two-handle bathroom sink faucet was opened so its internal operating components could be serviced. The work photo documents the faucet during disassembly with one handle removed and the valve body exposed.
A worn cartridge or seal can cause dripping, difficult handle operation, inconsistent flow, or water around the fixture. Rebuilding the faucet can correct those problems while retaining a serviceable fixture body.
Replacing the worn internal cartridge restored the fixture while avoiding unnecessary sink demolition or full faucet replacement.
The faucet cartridge was replaced and the fixture rebuilt
The removed cartridge is preserved in a separate full-resolution detail photo. After the internal part was replaced, the handle assembly was reinstalled and the faucet returned to its complete two-handle configuration.
The completed photo shows the rebuilt chrome fixture at the bathroom sink. This focused repair refreshed the existing faucet without the disruption of replacing the entire sink assembly.
