Two views documented the damaged condenser fan blade
The first close-up shows a torn section at the outer edge of one blade. A second view shows cracking where another blade meets its formed hub area. Damage in either location can leave the rotating assembly out of balance and should not be ignored.
A condenser fan operates above the outdoor coil to move heat away from the refrigerant system. A cracked, bent, loose, or unbalanced blade can reduce airflow, create vibration or noise, and place unnecessary stress on the fan motor and surrounding components.
The repair removed the visibly cracked and torn blade and installed a sound rotating assembly for the outdoor air conditioner.
The damaged assembly was replaced
The completed project photo shows a new three-blade fan assembly installed above the outdoor unit. The hub, motor shaft connection, fan guard, wiring, and nearby cabinet area are all visible in the documented repair.
Replacement parts must match the equipment requirements for blade diameter, pitch, rotation, hub position, motor compatibility, and clearances. A licensed HVAC technician should also inspect the motor, capacitor, guard, cabinet, and coil area when fan-blade damage is discovered.
